History:
Thousands of years ago, a special part of the world was singled out. It was just a regular old forest, with a glorious long field separating it in two. It was hidden away, preserved in its natural state. Why the mystical beings chose it to serve them, no one knows. All that is known is that it was changed. Though the field and a pond nearby, connected to a trickling river, stay in tact, the landscape on either side of them is transformed. To the west, snow blows over, covering everything from the trees to the ground. To the east, the sun shines, windy dryness being a permanent factor. Nothing seems unusual- but that's just the thing. The forest never changes.

For as long as anyone can remember, Pegasi and humans have lived in harmony in this sacred forest. Fire and Ice split, each keeping to their own boundaries and traditions. The equines and humans can use magic in ways not imagined by most, and use it for the good of their herds and villages. For the Pegasi are not your average animals, they are as intelligent as any human.

So join them all in their quest to preserve what is theirs, to discover what their life means and what they are destined to do to survive. Whether you choose the everlasting winter of the Ice Herd and Village, or the eternal warmth of the Fire Herd or Village, the choice is yours.

Plot:
Well, for now, since we're just starting, our plot is very vague. Our notes explain what, exactly, we will be Role-playing. As for what's going to happen, we don't know that. Why don't you join and help us with the process?

Welcome! I see you've stumbled upon Elemental. What do we do, you ask? Well, our main purpose is Roleplaying, but we're more than that. You can talk about anything horse related, make up and play games, or just chat with each other. I hope someday that this will be a comfortable atmosphere, where you can just hang out with us, your online friends.

TO ALL NEW MEMBERS: I'm hoping we'll get at least a couple with all the advertising I'm doing. Anyways. I'll put a lot of updates on here to keep you all 'In the know'. I've finished, I hope, with the site's layout and boards, but send me a note or leave a message in the C-box if you see anything that's unclear or could be improved. Feel free to start up Roleplay, but it might not be very active until we get more dedicated members. I hope you'll find Elemental beyond your satisfaction, and become part of the group! ^_^
